A Space to Celebrate

In a culture seemingly obsessed with youth and largely unattainable beauty ideals, it is nice to have something else to celebrate for a change. This poem was first published in the College of New Caledonia's student newspaper the Confluence (http://www.cncsu.ca/confluence/).
